CLF Announces $13 Million In New Fall Ad Reservations, Includes Five New Races
– New races include IL-13, MI-06, NC-02, NM-02, and NV-03
– CLF total fall reservation $85 million to date
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund, (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced another round of television advertising reservations for fall 2018. The additional $13 million in broadcast and cable television advertising includes five new congressional districts in the fall ad reservation: IL-13 (Rodney Davis), MI-06 (Fred Upton), NC-02 (George Holding), NM-02 (Yvette Herrell), and NV-03 (Danny Tarkanian).
CLF’s fall television advertising reservation now totals $85 million in addition to an unprecedented $20 million digital investment.
“This week’s $13 million reservation allows CLF to double-down in current districts and expand to new races as we work to support Republicans across the country,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “In addition to the aggressive ad campaign, CLF’s hyper-targeted, data-driven field program has exceeded 21 million voter contacts since February 2017 and will continue be an effective tool in working to hold the House Republican majority.”
Last month, CLF engaged early in 21 key congressional districts and put Democrats on defense across the country. For example, in KY-06, CLF went on air in early August with several T.V. and digital ad campaigns highlighting Amy McGrath’s support for higher taxes and bigger government. While McGrath was leading prior to CLF’s August surprise, recent polling indicates her numbers have changed dramatically since her primary victory, with Barr now leading her on the ballot.
