CLF & AAN Smash Fundraising Record by $20 Million
Congressional Leadership Fund and American Action Network announced today raising a combined total of $80 million so far this election cycle, $20 million higher than their previous record of $60 million in the first nine months of 2021.
The two groups have raised an eye-popping $48 million in the third quarter of this year, bringing in $26 million in September alone. Congressional Leadership Fund, the super PAC endorsed by Speaker Kevin McCarthy and House Republican Leadership, has brought in a whopping $36 million, $8 million ahead of this point in the 2022 cycle.
“Under the leadership of Speaker McCarthy, House Republicans are better positioned than ever before to hold and grow the House majority next fall,” said CLF President Dan Conston. “The House is the only line of defense against President Biden and the left’s radical agenda, and there is real momentum for expanding that majority behind Speaker McCarthy.”
