Vasquez Rejects Key Energy Policies His Voters Want

The House has now passed a series of energy bills aimed at unleashing American energy, lowering energy costs for hardworking Americans, and strengthening our economy:

• Denouncing the harmful, anti-American energy policies of the Biden administration,
• Restoring American Energy Dominance Act,
• Creating Confidence in Clean Water Permitting Act.

ALL were bipartisan. Yet despite this and the polls showing these energy policies are popular with voters, vulnerable House Democrat Gabe Vasquez still voted against them.

And it’s not the first time he has ignored New Mexicans’ concerns.

“Gabe Vasquez’s constituents want energy policies to boost the economy and lower costs. But instead, this ‘party-first’ Democrat is doubling down on harmful liberal energy policies.” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Vasquez is building up quite the anti-energy record that he won’t be able to defend this fall.”
