Titus blocked gas price reprieve
Oil prices are the highest in a decade, but Nevadans won’t see relief anytime soon, thanks to Congresswoman Dina Titus.
While Dina Titus has been pushing a federal gas tax holiday, Titus approved legislation in 1997 that blocks Nevadans from ever seeing relief, raising “Nevada’s fuel tax by the exact amount of any reduction at the federal level.”
Not to mention, the Congresswoman already voted for legislation to increase gas prices and stifle American energy independence.
“Nevadans have only Dina Titus to blame for sky high gas prices,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “While Titus wants to put on a big show to pretend like she’s doing something, she already blocked Nevadans from getting any relief at the pump.”
