Two illegal immigrants attacked NYPD officers and were set free without bail, “allowing open war on cops” one police officer later said.

And NY Democrat Mondaire Jones has been fighting a war on cops for years…

Jones has tried to portray himself as pro-law enforcement and serious about border security on the campaign trail, but his actions tell a different story:

• Mondaire Jones fought to defund the police, and even wrote an op-ed in Teen Vogue detailing “moving funding away from police departments.”
• He pushed to “abolish cash bail” and backed the decision to end cash bail in NY, which has let dangerous, violent criminals walk free.
• And he voted for mass amnesty for illegal immigrants – including gang members – while calling to defund ICE, saying it’s a “racist institution.”

“New York’s citizens and law enforcement are in harm’s way as violent criminals and illegal immigrants are allowed to roam free. If ‘defund-the-police’ Mondaire Jones had it his way, it would only get worse,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
