Spanberger backpaddles on impeachment

Abigail Spanberger must be suffering from an incredible case of amnesia.

After penning a scathing op-ed accusing Trump of “impeachable offenses” and persuading many swing district Democrats to come out for impeachment, Abigail Spanberger is now singing a totally new tune.

According to the Culpepper Star-Exponent, Spanberger is now warning Democrats of “impeachment overreach” and telling local reporters she is “taking care not to get ahead of the facts.”

Bit late for that, Abigail!

Either Spanberger completely forgot she’s responsible for putting steam behind this whole impeachment craze or she’s now trying to backpaddle after realizing the nightmare she created for herself in a district President Trump won by 6 points. Either way… she owes voters an explanation.

“Abigail Spanberger should have heeded her own warning before leaping to conclusions and accusing President Trump of misdeeds based on second-hand rumors,” said CLF Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Spanberger leaped out the gate to appease her socialist buddies and their insatiable obsession with impeaching the President, and no amount of backpaddling will be enough to erase that from voter’s minds.”
