CHASER: Americans remain concerned about inflation and the economy and don’t trust Biden or Democrats to fix it.
- A new NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ poll shows inflation is the top issue for more than half (52%) of Americans, while 92% concerned about it.
- Another poll shows voters trust Republicans over Democrats to do a better job of handling the economy and inflation.
- Another shows Americans trust Republicans on the economy more than Democrats by 14 points.
- Only 32% percent of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the economy.
- Among registered voters, only 38 percent approve, according to an NBC News poll
“Americans don’t trust Democrats to get a handle on inflation, and for good reason – their party’s reckless tax and spend agenda has left families paying more for basic necessities,” said CLF Communications Director Courtney Parella. “House Democrats can try their hardest to distance themselves from the toxic ‘Bidenomics’ phrase, but they can’t distance themselves from their own toxic economic record.”
