SHOT/CHASER: Engel Plays the Border Blame Game… Again

SHOT: Today, Kirsten Engel said, “the Biden administration was very late to realizing, you know, the crisis at the border.”  

CHASER: Engel was previously asked explicitly, “does Arizona have an immigration crisis,” and replied, “NO.”

While Engel tries to pass blame on the border (again), Arizonans are suffering: The fentanyl crisis is worsening, schools are overwhelmed, and it’s costing Arizona billions.

“Kirsten Engel’s attempt to portray herself as strong on border security – after denying there was even a crisis – is laughable,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
