Secret Progressive Group That Paid Rollins $40K “Likely Violated Federal Law”

The secret progressive group, who paid Will Rollins to run for Congress, has been hit with an ethics complaint after it “likely violated federal law” by making illegal contributions to federal candidates. 

In case you need a refresher: A recent bombshell report revealed Will Rollins was paid $40,000 by a liberal organization that works to “ensure repeat Democratic congressional hopefuls get paychecks between runs.”

However, Rollins, who has made repeated calls for transparency in politics, still refuses to answer for the money after he hurried to change his financial disclosures ahead of the report.

“Will Rollins is a fraud,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “He repeatedly calls for transparency in politics yet took tens of thousands of dollars from a secret group that ‘likely violated federal law’ to pay him that money in the first place. Rollins must answer for this and return the money.”
