Retirement disaster

House Democrat retirements keep coming like lightning – and their latest is a big one. Swing district Democrat Ed Perlmutter announced he’ll be the 26th House Democrat to call it quits before the midterms – the highest number of House Democrat retirements in 24 years.

Perlmutter’s retirement comes after CLF and other conservative organizations have worked for months to hold him accountable for rising prices, tax increases and more. Guess he just couldn’t handle the heat!

“Democrats know they have a simple choice: retire or get fired,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “Democrats’ retirement crisis has become a disaster of epic proportions because they know they know their failed record will cost them the Majority.”
