Report: Americans are more worried about crime than at any other time this century
After more than a year of Democrats undermining law enforcement, crime is wreaking havoc across the country.
A new report from CNN paints a grim picture of growing concerns about rising violent crime:
- 72% of Americans were dissatisfied with the nation’s policies to reduce or control crime — the highest this CENTURY.
- The percentage who are “very” dissatisfied is at a 21st-century high too, at 42%.
- More Americans say they worry a great or fair deal about crime and violence (80%) than at any point in well over a decade.
- Registered voters, by a 16 point margin (50% to 34%), said they trusted the Republican Party more on crime than the Democratic Party.
“How many more lives have to be put at risk before anti-law enforcement Democrats admit their reckless policies are wrong,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Democrats clamored to undermine the police and coddle criminals and now Americans are seeing the dangerous consequences.”
