Rep. Stevens’ budget dumpster fire

Has anyone checked in with Haley Stevens this morning? She’s probably feeling a little embarrassed today after the Democrats’ humiliating dumpster fire last night, where they were forced to indefinitely cancel the vote on their two year budget, thanks to ridiculous demands for new spending from the party’s socialist wing like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The whole ordeal is particularly mortifying for Congresswoman Stevens, given her promises to “cut the crap” and “work with both sides of the aisle to pass a budget.”

It’s time to cut the crap.

As a soon to be voting Member of Congress, I will vote to reopen the government, I will work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to pass a budget, and I will wholly oppose border policies that hurt our economy and communities.
