North Carolinians respond to Don Davis’ $10K, 24-hour border trip

Constituents are weighing in on Don Davis’ outlandish, 24-hour trip to the southern border where he billed taxpayers $6,700 for his plane tickets and $2,300 for Ubers.

When asked thoughts on Davis’ trip, a constituent in Elizabeth City responded with “I think that’s pretty wild.”

NC-01’s Republican nominee Laurie Buckhout weighed in, saying “It’d be a bargain for NC-01 if Don Davis just ordered one last Uber straight home.”

Davis still refuses to comment on the matter. He owes his constituents answers about this misuse of taxpayer dollars.
