NM Business Owners Sound Alarm on Crime

Business owners are sounding the alarm on rising crime in Albuquerque.

Recent reports reveal that shootings are plaguing the small business community, a local tea shop was robbed at knifepoint twice this month alone, and there have been countless other shoplifting incidents across the city.

Things have gotten so bad, some business owners “struggle to pay bills,” as residents and workers alike say they “don’t feel safe” in the city.

And Gabe Vasquez would only make these problems even worse. Don’t forget, Vasquez has repeatedly pushed to defund the police and even called law enforcement a “system of oppression.”

“Make no mistake – the rising crime in Albuquerque that is destroying businesses and forcing citizens to live in fear is being perpetuated by Gabe Vasquez’s defund-the-police rhetoric and policies,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
