“More taxes!” say Virginia Dems

After campaigning on lowering costs and affordability, within 48 hours of taking power in Richmond, Virginia Democrats have introduced legislation creating new sales and retail taxes.

From a new 4.3% sales tax on Uber Eats, Amazon and other deliveries, to raising the hotel tax, to a new personal property tax on landscaping equipment, to new sales tax on admissions to a wide variety of businesses, and just about everything in between, Democrats are intent on making life harder for Virginians.

That, of course, includes Rep. Eugene Vindman, who told Virginians electing Democrats would “improve the economy” and “make our lives more affordable.”

Democrats campaign on affordability, but the minute they’re given power they rob hardworking families of their paycheck in the form of higher and new taxes.

It’s about to get very, very expensive to live, work and raise a family in Virginia, thanks to the Democrats.
