Marcy Kaptur Failed to Protect Ohio Girls

Today, House Republicans passed a resolution to block the Biden administration’s massive and alarming overhaul of Title IX, but every House Democrat voted against it. 

That means, Marcy Kaptur just abandoned women and young girls, and backed changes to Title IX that are almost too hard to believe.

Biden’s overhaul of Title IX requires every education program that receives federal funding — including preschools and elementary schools — to accept and enforce a student’s self-chosen “gender identity.” More specifically, it will:

• Require preschoolers and kindergartners to adhere to self-chosen pronouns,
• Let biological boys use the girl’s restroom,
• Accept and even encourage biological men to join women’s sports teams,
• And allow biological men access to private spaces, including women’s locker rooms.

Sadly, these will not be outlier cases as the Democrats will try and make you believe. Already the Biden Education Department investigated middle schoolers for “misgendering” another student.

Marcy Kaptur’s acceptance of these policies makes her extreme in her beliefs and, quite frankly, dangerous to children.

“Marcy Kaptur failed women and girls in Ohio and across the country by refusing to stand up for their rights or protect their safety,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
