800 small businesses are closing every single day in America. 10.7 million Americans are out of work.

And House Democrats just can’t stop themselves from trying to make it all even worse.

Today, House Democrats introduced a far-left proposal to raise the minimum wage to $15 which studies say will, on average, eliminate 1.3 million jobs and, at worst, eliminate nearly 4 million.

Small businesses need help. Workers need jobs. But Democrats only want to kick ‘em while they’re down.

“It wasn’t enough for Democrats to crush 1 million oil and gas jobs on Day One, now they want to saddle small business with higher costs and push millions more on unemployment rolls to do it,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “Democrats have had the keys to the car only a week and are already trying to run America’s small businesses, and the workers they support, off a cliff.”
