House Dems Vote Against Border Security Bills That Protect Americans
A majority of House Democrats voted against two commonsense bills which would help keep Americans safe from the effects of Joe Biden’s crisis at the southern border.
- 155 House Democrats voted AGAINST a bill to hold illegal immigrants accountable for defrauding social security.
- 150 House Democrats voted AGAINST a bill to ensure any illegal migrant driving while intoxicated or impaired can be held accountable and deported.
These measures shouldn’t be controversial.
Yet, House Democrats’ dismissal of Americans’ concerns shows just how wildly out of step they really are.
Of course, this isn’t the first time House Democrats have voted against border security… Or the second time… and it certainly won’t be the last.
“Nothing is more important than the safety and security of the American people. Yet House Democrats continue showing Americans that on this most important issue, they couldn’t care less,” said CLF Communications Director Courtney Parella. “Voters won’t forget it come November.”
