Gonzalez Gives Biden Passing Grade on Border Crisis
Last week, Texas Democrat Vicente Gonzalez downplayed his party’s border crisis, giving President Biden a passing grade on his administration’s handling of the border.
Gonzalez has a front row seat to this border crisis, but clearly he hasn’t been paying attention…
- In total, there have been well over 6.6 million encounters at the border since Joe Biden took office.
- In December, more than 300,000 migrants crossed the border (that’s a monthly record).
- And in Gonzalez’s District alone:
- Last week, federal agents arrested two men for attempting to smuggle migrants into the United States.
- An 8-year-old girl died in CBP custody when overcrowding at the border facility led to poor medical care.
- Four Americans were kidnapped (two of them killed) by a drug cartel last March.
And according to a recent Wall Street Journal poll, only 27% of registered voters approve of the job Biden is doing to secure the border.
27% = a solid F.
“Vicente Gonzalez is living in denial if he thinks Joe Biden or his party deserves anything but an F on his handling of this out-of-control crisis at our southern border,” said CLF Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
