Golden boy no more

Jared Golden is officially Maine’s least popular elected official.

WMTW reports new polling numbers put Golden’s job approval at a meager 38%, a rating almost 10 points lower than that of Maine’s other House member.

Apparently when folks learn you support raising taxes on “ordinary people” just to cancel 723,000 Mainers’ health insurance, it really does a number on your re-election prospects.
