Gabe Vasquez Anti-Law Enforcement Agenda Brings Rising Crime to Albuquerque

Crime in Albuquerque is spiking, and it’s costing local businesses.

One bar owner said, his business was victimized four times in the past week and each criminal incident costs him $2,500. Another store owner said her business experienced a break-in and a theft in the past week, explaining “it’s just been really hard to run a small business.”

And Gabe Vasquez and his anti-law enforcement agenda has done nothing to solve this crime crisis. Remember – Vasquez went on TV to advocate for defunding the police, calling police a “system of oppression,” AND he backed a plan to cut the local police budget by HALF. 

That’s an open invitation for criminals.

“Gabe Vasquez’s defund-the-police crusade is hurting New Mexico communities suffering under out-of-control crime, and voters will hold him accountable in November because of it,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
