Fletcher betrays Texas oil and gas
Things just went from bad to worse for the energy industry in Texas after Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher betrayed her constituents and endorsed Joe Biden – who unequivocally stated he wants a total ban on drilling for oil and natural gas in Texas.
Joe has made it clear for months that he supports “no ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period.” A policy that would devastate hardworking people in Houston’s energy corridor – which Fletcher Lizzie is supposed to represent.
A list of the policies Lizzie Fletcher now owns after her endorsement:
- Demanding all fossil fuel workers to learn to code: “a transition…it’s going to have to happen.”
- Guaranteeing “we’re going to end fossil fuel.”
- The end of new energy production: “no more, no new fracking.”
- No new oil drilling: “no ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period, ends”
