Fentanyl Overdose Deaths Skyrocket, No Thanks to Caraveo
Colorado is seeing “an unprecedented number” of fentanyl overdose deaths, since the Colorado State Legislature passed a bill – led at the time by Yadira Caraveo – to lessen penalties for fentanyl possession.
This deadly law was eventually reversed, but not before fentanyl overdose deaths in Colorado doubled.
And since coming to Congress, Caraveo only made matters worse by refusing to secure the southern border, where most fentanyl is smuggled into the U.S.
“The numbers don’t lie – Yadira Caraveo and her party’s radical agenda have only exacerbated the fentanyl crisis in Colorado,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
