FACT CHECK: Don Davis Called Out by the Coast Guard for Lying

Don Davis claimed in a recent ad that he is “delivering essential aircraft for Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City,” but the Coast Guard confirmed to 13News Now that Don Davis is lying.

And since his lie was revealed, Don Davis hasn’t said a word.

This seems to be a pattern of behavior from Davis who:

• Has tried to rewrite his record of voting against border security and against lowering taxes and costs,
• Lied about President Biden’s cognitive decline,
• And regularly ducks difficult votes.

“Don Davis is lying to North Carolinians about his so-called accomplishments and hyper-partisan record because he knows that if voters knew the truth, he’d be fired from Congress,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “We’ll keep showing voters the real Don Davis.”
