American families and small businesses need help right away, but Washington Democrats are making it clear that, to them, politics comes before the American people.

Last night, Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, threw a partisan temper tantrum and voted to block much-needed resources for struggling American families and businesses.

Now today, Democrats promise to do everything in their power to stall and delay yet another vote on the resources that that, frankly, Americans needed yesterday.

“Even facing the worst economic and public health crisis of our day, Washington Democrats cannot stop themselves from playing politics with people’s lives,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “Democrats would rather put lives on the line, cause irreparable damage to the American economy, and force small businesses to go belly up than do the right thing. Americans should be appalled.”
