Congressman Antonio Delgado is retiring from Congress, making him the 33^rd House Democrat to forgo re-election before they lose the House Majority — and the second to retire in the last week alone!

Election day is approaching fast and House Democrats’ retirement crisis is only accelerating by the minute.

“House Democrats would be wise to follow Delgado’s lead and start looking for new work now,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “With mass layoffs coming soon for House Democrats, they’d be foolish to stick around and wait to get fired.”
