Defund-the-Police Vasquez’s Least Favorite Week

It’s National Police Week, and while it’s time to honor our brave law enforcement officers, we know one man who can’t: Gabe Vasquez.

And as a Las Cruces City Council member, he vowed to fully support defunding the city’s police “wholeheartedly and absolutely.”

“Make no mistake, Gabe Vasquez ‘wholeheartedly and absolutely’ wants to defund the police, and he would endanger every New Mexico family to do it,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
