Dave Min’s Minions Blasted for Fake Police Endorsement
Dave Min and his minions are facing backlash for using comments made by Irvine Police Chief Michael Kent to imply an endorsement in recent campaign materials.
The Irvine City Manager sent a letter to Min’s campaign over the video and flyer, saying the ads have “caused confusion among the public” leaving residents, law enforcement personnel and other Police Chiefs “asking whether Chief Kent’s statement is an endorsement of your candidacy for Congress. The answer to that question is ‘no.’”
It’s no surprise Min’s minions are desperate to fake police endorsements. Min has worked to undermine a tough-on-crime measure (without reading it), AND not long ago he was caught drinking and driving then berating law enforcement.
“DUI Dave Min and his minions are desperate to hoodwink voters, but Californians won’t be fooled by these dubious ads. DUI Dave is no friend of law enforcement,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
