Coloradans Paying the Price for Caraveo & Biden’s Border Crisis
Before coming to Congress, radical Yadira Caraveo advocated to defund border enforcement agencies, even calling on the Biden administration and Congress to loosen immigration rules and “divest from immigration enforcement agencies like ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and CBP [Customs and Border Protection].”
Since coming to Congress, the anti-border security extremist continues rejecting efforts to secure the border.
Now, Denver has reached a “breaking point” on Biden and Caraveo’s migrant crisis, and it’s easy to see why:
- In the past year, nearly 36,000 illegal migrants have arrived in Denver.
- This influx has already cost Denver taxpayers 36 million dollars, and they’re expecting the 2024 figure to hit $180 million, or 15% of the city’s overall budget.
- Homelessness has become a rampant problem, and the city’s liberal policies aren’t helping.
“Radical Yadira Caraveo is making her party’s out-of-control border crisis even worse, and her constituents are footing the bill,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
