CO Counties Sue Over Caraveo’s “Dangerous” Immigration Law

As Denver continues to struggle with the growing migrant crisis, two Colorado counties hoping to avoid the same fate are suing over the state’s progressive immigration laws, including one that then-State Legislator Yadira Caraveo helped pass.

Caraveo’s radical bill makes it harder for law enforcement to cooperate with ICE, which multiple county officials say is unconstitutional and “dangerous” to Coloradans.

But this isn’t the only time Yadira Caraveo has backed extreme pro-illegal immigration policies. Remember, Caraveo pushed the Biden administration to defund ICE and CBP and has repeatedly rejected tougher border security measures in Congress.

“Coloradans are already fighting back against Yadira Caraveo’s dangerous pro-illegal immigration agenda, and they’ll certainly send her packing this November because of it,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
