CLF Welcomes Katie Porter To CA-45 Race

Congratulations to progressive Katie Porter on becoming the Democratic nominee for California’s 45^th Congressional District!

However, Katie Porter’s political views, which mirror Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, are far too left for CA-45 families. Keep in mind:

• Katie supports Medicare For All
• Katie opposes the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, saying it will be a “shock to middle-class families’ pocketbooks…”
  • WHOOPS: The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will actually provide a $5,200 tax cut for CA-45 families and businesses across Southern California have announced bonuses and benefits for employees

It will certainly be interesting to watch Katie try to backtrack on these comments in the coming months…
