Cartwright says ban American oil

As gas prices soar to the highest levels ever, POLITICO reports that Matt Cartwright wants to make families’ pain at the pump even worse.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus, of which Cartwright is a proud member, is calling on Biden to declare a “climate emergency” and ban oil drilling on public lands.

The only logical explanation? Matt Cartwright wants to see just how high gas prices can go!

“Americans are struggling to keep up with record gas prices, and yet Matt Cartwright is doing everything he can to push them even higher,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “How much more expensive does life need to get before Cartwright realizes he’s causing real pain for working families?”
