Cartwright and Wild’s Vote Is a Headscratcher

94 percent of Americans say illegal immigration in the U.S. is a problem, and most are blaming Biden. 

Yet, Matt Cartwright and Susan Wild just voted against a bipartisan resolution to urge President Biden to fix the crisis he created and take executive action now. 

Many vulnerable Democrats voted in support of the resolution but not Cartwright or Wild. Why? 

“Susan Wild and Matt Cartwright have had opportunity after opportunity to acknowledge this illegal immigration crisis, yet they continue backing their party’s radical agenda instead,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Ignoring voters’ concerns will cost Cartwright and Wild their seats this November.”
