Californians Pay More for Gas, Thanks to Salas

California’s gas prices are the most expensive in the entire country today, costing $4.82 per gallon – over $1.35 MORE than the national average.

And it’s likely to get even worse, thanks to Rudy Salas…

In the State Assembly, Salas voted for legislation that has caused fuel prices to rise by 27 cents per gallon, and state regulators say it may still cause prices to rise by an additional 47 cents a gallon.

And if that’s not enough, let’s not forget all of the votes Salas skipped that would have suspended California’s astronomical gas tax.

“California families are feeling pain at the pump, and it’s all thanks to careless politicians like Rudy Salas,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
