New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio just became the 23rd Democrat to join the 2020 gong show – apparently ignoring polling that “every listed party, gender, racial, borough and age group” agree he shouldn’t run for President.
While de Blasio can’t wait to get out of dodge, his fellow New Yorkers including Anthony Brindisi and Antonio Delgado can’t wait to duck their ties to him and his radical record.
After all, Mayor De Blasio’s Fairness PAC maxed out its campaign contributions to Delgado and Brindisi.
Could this be because de Blasio liked how Delgado ran as a “Green New Deal candidate” and because he absolutely loved Brindisi’s vote to implement a single-payer boondoggle for all of New York? I guess you’ll have to ask him.
But my guess is once reporters start asking questions, Brindisi and Delgado will drop de Blasio’s support for their campaigns faster than de Blasio dropped that groundhog all those years ago…
