Bipartisan rebuke for Rep. Underwood’s vile comments

Democrats and Republicans alike united to for one purpose this afternoon: to condemn Lauren Underwood’s appalling comments on the border crisis.

In case you missed it, Congresswoman Underwood became totally unhinged in a hearing, accusing the Department of Homeland Security of “intentionally” murdering children and then – most shockingly – refusing to walk back her over-the-line assertion.

Underwood drew swift rebuke, with the Committee quickly voting on a bipartisan basis to condemn her remarks and strike them from the Congressional record.

CLF Comment: “Congresswoman Underwood has stooped to despicable new lows to attack the men and women who bravely serve this country. She ought to be ashamed of herself.” – CLF Spokesman Calvin Moore
