Axne Denies Cause of Inflation…Again
During a Meet and Greet last week, Cindy Axne claimed the Biden Administration and Democrats are *not* to blame for inflation, even though the Federal Reserve says that they are.
Add it to the growing list of excuses and disinformation from Axne about how she’s caused skyrocketing prices for families, including:
- Saying inflation was “false advertisements”
- That “no economist worth their salt” said we’re looking at inflation
- Denying once again that spending caused inflation – despite every economist saying it did
- Then reversing course and admitting that inflation was real, but that she’s not at fault
“Cindy Axne should stop blaming others and fess up that her liberal political agenda is why families are now struggling to put groceries on the table,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Iowans are barely getting by and Axne will do nothing to fix it because refuses to admit why prices are skyrocketing to begin with.”
