Another Dem rerun goes for broke: Rudy Salas edition

In light of Rudy Salas announcing he’s running again in CA-22, let’s reminisce on why California voters rejected Salas before.

The corrupt, failed congressional candidate:

• Missed several votes to suspend California’s astronomical gas tax.
• Voted to extend California’s cap and trade program, which a budget analysis said would raise the price of gas as much as 73 cents a gallon.
• Accepted over $70,000 in gifts, including from a Chinese corporation and other foreign governments.

And let’s not forget about the time he lied about his age on two different dating apps to make himself appear 11 years younger than he really was.

“Lying Rudy Salas is the worst kind of politician, who failed to stand up for Central Valley families when they needed help the most and instead lined his own pockets,” said CLF Communications Director Courtney Parella. “California voters haven’t forgotten.”
