A few questions for Rep. Anthony Brindisi…

Anthony Brindisi famously campaigned on being a moderate politician in a hyper-partisan world. At his first town hall today, Mr. Brindisi, now a congressman, won’t be able to run from his record or hide behind canned talking points.

Here are 4 questions his constituents deserve to have answered today:

  1. How could Brindisi hold press conferences about the need to pay federal workers when he repeatedly votedto hold their paychecks hostage? Is it because he followed the orders of party bosses?
  2. Now that he is in congress, will Brindisi explain how he is going to pay for his radical plan to pass a government-takeover of healthcare that would eliminate private health insurance??
  3. Given his past support for a far-left energy bill that opened the door to massive new taxes, does Brindisi back Nancy Pelosi’s plan to pass cap-and-trade legislation?
  4. Why won’t Brindisi stand up to his party and call out Democratic leaders who label the president the “grand wizard of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue”? (Hint: maybe it’s because Hakeem Jeffries was a BIG $upporter of his campaign)

We’ll keep holding our breath…
