Tony Vargas Is No Friend of Police

It’s National Police Week, and while it’s time to honor our brave law enforcement officers, we know one man who can’t: Tony Vargas.

We haven’t forgotten about Tony Vargas joining a violent mob in Omaha, then blaming police and falsely accusing them of escalating violence against dangerous rioters and looters.

And we haven’t forgotten how the Omaha Police Officer’s Association clapped back at Vargas for his lies:

Don’t take our word for it, take law enforcement’s: every single elected law enforcement official in Nebraska’s 2^nd Congressional District has endorsed Congressman Don Bacon.

“Tony Vargas is no friend to police, and Nebraska families would be less safe if he were elected to Congress,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
