Rep. Delgado backs NY’s dangerous bail law
New York’s disastrous new bail law allows for criminals to roam free even after committing multiple crimes, and Antonio Delgado just went on the record to give the law his support.
The Register Star reports that on a conference call with reporters, Delgado said he “supports the bail reform the state Legislature passed last year.”
Yep. The same law that allowed violent criminals to walk free and which officials have said put “more criminals… out on the streets, available to commit more crimes.”
Needless to say, you can count on seeing this headline again over the next few months…
“New York’s radical bail law lets even violent offenders roam free, but Antonio Delgado would rather protect these criminals than their victims,” said CLF Spokesman Calvin Moore. “With Delgado throwing his support behind this dangerous law, it’s clear New Yorkers just can’t trust him to keep them safe.”
