Collin Peterson loses long-time endorser
The USS Collin Peterson is finally running its course, and former allies of Peterson are starting to jump ship. National Right to Life, which backed Peterson last time, is now officially endorsing his opponent, Michelle Fischbach.
In announcing their decision, National Right to Life torched Peterson’s record, noting that “unfortunately, Rep. Collin Peterson (D) does not have a 100% pro-life voting record. He even voted to overturn President Trump’s pro-life policy of not allowing U.S. taxpayer dollars to be used to fund overseas organizations that perform or promote abortion.”
“With every day that goes by, it becomes clearer that Collin Peterson is increasingly out of step with his district,” said CLF Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Peterson’s radical record on abortion is just the latest example of how much decades in Washington changed Collin.”
