Congressional Leadership Fund Super-PAC
Announces November 2nd Inaugural Event
Special Invited Guests include Speaker Boehner and Members of House Leadership
Washington, D.C. – The Congressional Leadership Fund, a super-PAC, announced today its inaugural event featuring special invited guests: House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH); House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA); House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA); National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chief Deputy Majority Whip Peter Roskam (R-IL); and Congressman Greg Walden (R-OR), Chairman, House Republican Leadership and Deputy Chairman, National Republican Congressional Committee.
The Congressional Leadership Fund inaugural event will take place on Wednesday, November 2 from 5:30-7:00 P.M. at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C.
“We are honored to have special guests Speaker Boehner, Leader Cantor, Whip McCarthy and the entire House Republican Leadership team for our inaugural event,” stated Senator Norm Coleman, chairman of the Congressional Leadership Fund’s board of directors. “The Congressional Leadership Fund is a commitment to preserving and growing a House Republican majority that is fighting each day to grow our economy, reign in government spending, ensure that our nation is secure and offer dynamic, common sense solutions to America’s challenges.”
“The Congressional Leadership Fund is an opportunity for center-right voices throughout America to support our House Republican majority,” stated Fred Malek, member of the Congressional Leadership Fund’s board of directors. “This will be a comprehensive effort to stand with those voices in the House who are supporting an agenda focused on economic growth and fiscal responsibility.”
“To compete against those on the liberal left who are organizing to undermine the historic gains Republicans made in 2010, the Congressional Leadership Fund is the tip of the spear to re-elect Republican incumbents and build on the Republican majority won in 2010,” stated Brian Walsh, President of the Congressional Leadership Fund.
The Congressional Leadership Fund is an independent expenditure PAC that will support candidates who promote the values of the center right majority in the House of Representatives. The Fund will counter efforts on the left including the House Majority PAC, unions and the ACORN style groups. This is an independent expenditure fund focused solely and exclusively on maintaining the majority in the House of Representatives.
