WCCO: Peterson is a resistance Democrat

Collin Peterson’s far-left voting record is starting to catch attention back home.

WCCO CBS Minnesota took a look at the voting record of Minnesota’s Members of Congress and found that, despite representing a district Trump won by 30, Collin Peterson votes against Trump nearly 85% of the time. In fact, his record is so extreme it puts him lockstep with socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and in the same ballpark as resistance warrior and infamous anti-Semite, Rep. Ilhan Omar.

And with Peterson bashing Trump – yet again – just yesterday over Trump’s attempts to reduce welfare fraud, Peterson’s allegiance to the resistance is only getting stronger by the day.

“Collin Peterson has a found a new home in Washington with the resistance ‘squad’ of socialists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who will stop at nothing to block President Trump from accomplishing anything for Minnesota,” said CLF Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Peterson is clearly way to the left of his district, no wonder he’s kicking the tires on calling it quits.”
