New Ad In MN-03 Highlights Dean Phillips’ Out-Of-Touch Hypocrisy
Phillips says health care is a “moral right,” but was caught not offering health care for his own employees
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Coffee,” in Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. The ad highlights Dean Phillips’ repeated hypocrisy while on the campaign trail. The ad will run on television in the Minneapolis media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Multi-millionaire playboy Dean Phillips has proven he’s a hypocrite who will say or do anything to get elected to Congress,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “On the campaign trail, Phillips has said repeatedly that health care is a ‘moral right,’ but he was caught refusing to offer it to his employees even though he is worth more than $70 million.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.

Hypocrisy.
Phillips says…
DEAN PHILLIPS: “I believe every American citizen should be afforded health insurance. I believe it to be a moral right.”
VO: But Phillips got caught not offering health care for his own employees…
Like the ones at this coffee shop.
He’s worth up to $77 million…
But said no to health care for his own workers.
Dean Phillips.
The worst kind of hypocrisy.
