New Ad In NY-22: Liberal Politician Anthony Brindisi And Sheldon Silver Fleeced Taxpayers

Anthony Brindisi supported disgraced former Assembly Speaker Silver’s liberal agenda over ninety percent of the time

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Silver,” in New York’s 22^nd Congressional District. The ad highlights Anthony Brindisi’s record of supporting disgraced former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver’s liberal agenda of bigger government and higher taxes more than ninety percent of the time. The ad will run on television in the Binghamton and Utica media markets and digital platforms throughout the district.

“Disgraced Sheldon Silver is one of the most corrupt politicians in New York history and liberal politician Anthony Brindisi was his go-to guy in Albany,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “After backing Silver’s liberal agenda over ninety percent of the time in Albany, it’s clear that Brindisi would back Nancy Pelosi’s extreme agenda in Washington — New York taxpayers deserve better than a big government politician with bad judgment.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF opened a field office in New York’s 22^nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
