Committed To Doing Things Differently, CLF Announces Third Super Saturday
CLF field staff and 4,000 volunteers aim to make 400,000 voter contacts in one day
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced it will hold its third Super Saturday on July 28th. The Super Saturday efforts will emphasize CLF’s unprecedented field program and will be supported by over 4,000 volunteers. Outreach activities will consist of door-to-door canvassing and phone banking to engage and build relationships with voters in more than 30 field offices nationwide.
“This election cycle, CLF is committed to doing things differently which is why we launched a data-driven, hyper-targeted field program to help Republican members win in the fall,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “With nearly 100 days until Election Day, CLF’s unparalleled national field program is hosting its third Super Saturday, contacting 400,000 voters in key congressional districts nationwide, informing them how their member of Congress is fighting for them and their community.”
This election cycle, CLF took the unprecedented step as a super PAC to implement a national field program focused on having ongoing conversations with voters about their top issues. Since February 2017, CLF has opened 34 field offices and made over 15 million voter contacts to date. Each office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
CLF held its second Super Saturday on April 7, 2018, surpassing its goal of 300,000 voter contacts in more than 30 field offices nationwide.
