CLF Expands National Field Program To 17 Congressional Districts Nationwide
CLF is the first super PAC to invest and launch a data-driven national field operation targeting congressional districts. Since February, CLF has been opening field offices and implementing unique, full-fledged campaigns with the goal of building relationships with voters in key districts to help protect the Republican House majority in 2018. Each field office is led by a full-time staffer and hundreds of volunteers and interns who door-knock and phone bank on a daily basis. Findings from an initial voter survey, conducted in each district, are used to identify voters’ top local issues and guide messaging and digital outreach.
“Our data-driven field program is expanding, but more importantly, our staff and interns are building relationships and having ongoing conversations with voters across key congressional districts fourteen months before the midterm elections,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “Polling and data allow us to talk to voters about the issues they most care about and share how their representative is working for them. We know starting early in the field and making real, long-term investments will make a difference. We will continue expanding CLF’s presence across the country as we head into the 2018 midterm elections, and know these efforts will play a crucial role in protecting the House Republican majority.”
