CLF Executive Director Corry Bliss Issues Statement on GA-06 Special Election Primary Results
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC) Executive Director Corry Bliss issued the following statement on the primary results in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District special election:
“The myth of Jon Ossoff died tonight. Despite a heavy advertising advantage and a national stream of unlimited resources, Jon Ossoff’s Hollywood-focused campaign finished no better than Hillary Clinton’s. CLF was the first opponent of Ossoff’s campaign and we were proud to expose him as a D.C. liberal through our aggressive ground game and advertising efforts. As this race moves to a runoff, we’ll continue to make sure Georgia voters know that he is nothing more than a liberal rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi’s failed agenda of more taxes and bigger government.”
CLF’s investment in the primary election included:
– First outside group to engage in the primary, spending over $3 million
– Field operation consisting of 90 full-time door knockers, over 90,000 doors knocked; targeted GOTV phone program
– Aggressive advertising campaign including spending in TV, digital advertising and targeted mail
