Congressional Leadership Fund Doubles Spending and Releases New Ad Against Jon Ossoff

New investment begins to erase Ossoff’s massive spending advantage of 4,500 GRPs vs. 600 GRPs

WASHINGTON –  The Congressional Leadership Fund  (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced an additional $1.1 million in spending and a new TV ad against Democrat Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District special election race. The new ad, “Pelosi,” builds on Ossoff’s dishonest resume claims and begins to uncover the real Jon Ossoff who will be nothing more than a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi’s failed liberal agenda.

“The myth of Jon Ossoff is based upon one thing and one thing only: he’s had a 7.5 to 1 spending advantage— and today that changes,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “Jon Ossoff has not been honest about a single thing in this race. Ossoff has misled voters about his resume and he’s refused to say where he stands on the issues that matter to Georgia voters. Jon Ossoff and his liberal allies are spending $1 million a week trying to convince Georgia voters that he is someone he’s not. The fact is Jon Ossoff is nothing more than a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi’s liberal agenda of higher taxes, more spending, and job-destroying regulations.”

The new ad will air on Atlanta broadcast and cable beginning Friday, March 24, as part of CLF’s now $2.2 million independent expenditure campaign in GA-06. This ad follows CLF’s first ad, “The Truth Strikes Back,” which exposed Ossoff’s dishonest claims about his experience as a low-level congressional aide.

Over the past month, Jon Ossoff has aired over 4,500 gross rating points compared to the 600 gross rating points opposing him. This new expenditure begins to erase his massive spending advantage.
